Indonesia’s participation as the Official Partner Country at INNOPROM 2026 provides investors and business leaders from the Eurasian region with direct access to explore industrial partnership opportunities in Indonesia, underpinned by the country’s new industrial policy framework, the New National Industrialization Strategy (Strategi Baru Industrialisasi Nasional/SBIN). Taking place on 6–9 July 2026 in Yekaterinburg, Russia, INNOPROM 2026 will serve as a strategic meeting point between Eurasian industry players and Indonesia’s rapidly evolving industrial ecosystem.

Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita emphasized that Indonesia is no longer offering merely a large domestic market, but a clear and well-defined roadmap for industrial development. “Through the New National Industrialization Strategy, Indonesia is building a stronger, more modern, and more sustainable industrial foundation. We are creating broad opportunities for international partnerships that bring high-quality investment, technology transfer, and enhanced capabilities for our national manufacturing sector,” he said.

The New National Industrialization Strategy (SBIN) is the Ministry of Industry’s response to rapidly evolving global economic dynamics, including accelerating digitalization, the energy transition, and shifts in global supply chains. At the same time, it serves as Indonesia’s industrial roadmap toward realizing the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. Anchored in President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita national development agenda, SBIN provides the overarching framework for advancing an industrialization model that is independent, competitive, and sustainable.

The strategy is built upon four key priorities, each creating opportunities for collaboration and investment from Eurasian partners across a wide range of industrial sectors in Indonesia. These priorities include strengthening value-added manufacturing based on Indonesia’s natural resources, accelerating industrial technology adoption through the Making Indonesia 4.0 roadmap, promoting green industrialization, and developing a highly skilled industrial workforce.

Director General of Industrial Resilience, Regional Development, and International Industrial Access (KPAII), Tri Supondy, stated that Indonesia's participation in INNOPROM 2026 marks an important milestone in strengthening the country's position as a long-term industrial partner for the Eurasian region. "Our primary objective in participating in INNOPROM 2026 is to reinforce Indonesia's position as a long-term industrial partner for Eurasia. Through this exhibition, Indonesia will introduce the New National Industrialization Strategy (SBIN), which provides the foundation for building a manufacturing ecosystem that is more structured, transparent, and open to international collaboration," he said in a press statement in Jakarta on 24 June.

Indonesia enters INNOPROM 2026 from a position of strength as Southeast Asia's largest manufacturing economy. The country's Manufacturing Value Added (MVA) has reached USD 265 billion, ranking 13th globally. Meanwhile, Indonesia's non-oil and gas manufacturing exports totaled USD 147.9 billion through August 2025, accounting for nearly 80 percent of the country's total exports. This robust industrial base provides a solid foundation for Indonesia's presence in Yekaterinburg. At INNOPROM 2026, Indonesia will be represented by more than 50 companies and organizations, showcasing the country's industrial capabilities while creating concrete opportunities for business partnerships and investment with industry players and investors from across the Eurasian region.

Indonesia is presenting four key areas of industrial cooperation for partners from the Eurasian region. First, technology partnerships and technology transfer, offering companies with expertise in industrial machinery, automation systems, petrochemicals, and advanced materials the opportunity to collaborate with Indonesian manufacturers that are accelerating the modernization of their production processes. These opportunities will be showcased through the Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment, and Electronics (ILMATE) and Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Textile (IKFT) pavilion zones. Second, direct investment opportunities in fully operational and professionally managed industrial parks, supported by a predictable regulatory environment strengthened through the New National Industrialization Strategy (SBIN).

Third, collaboration in developing downstream value chains for strategic minerals, including nickel, bauxite, copper, cobalt, and lithium, creating substantial demand for advanced processing technologies, engineering expertise, and high-value materials innovation. Fourth, partnerships in the value-added agro-industry and food processing sector through the AGRO Pavilion, offering opportunities in food processing technologies, logistics, and the expansion of market access and distribution networks.

As the Official Partner Country at INNOPROM 2026, Indonesia is not only showcasing the achievements of its manufacturing sector but also presenting a clear, structured, and sustainable framework for industrial collaboration. Backed by the New National Industrialization Strategy (SBIN), INNOPROM 2026 is expected to serve as a strategic gateway for strengthening investment, accelerating technology transfer, and fostering long-term industrial partnerships that reinforce Indonesia's position in the global manufacturing value chain.
