Amid the world's increasing need for more resilient supply chains and new manufacturing partnerships, Indonesia records history as the first country from Southeast Asia trusted to become the Official Partner Country at INNOPROM 2026, the largest industrial exhibition in the Eurasian region which takes place on July 6-9, 2026, in Ekaterinburg, Russia. This historic momentum marks the increasingly strong position of Indonesia as a strategic partner of global industry while simultaneously opening a new chapter of manufacturing cooperation with Russia and Eurasian countries. The presence of Indonesia as an official partner country is marked by the opening of the Indonesia Pavilion which becomes the center of national manufacturing industry promotion during the holding of INNOPROM 2026.

"The participation of Indonesia as the Official Partner Country at INNOPROM 2026 is a strategic momentum to strengthen national industrial relations with Eurasian countries. We want to encourage the establishment of mutually beneficial partnerships with Russia and Eurasian countries through increased investment, technology transfer, strengthening of industrial downstreaming, as well as expansion of export market access for Indonesian manufactured products. This effort is part of the government's commitment to accelerate the transformation of a national industry that is competitive, value-added, and sustainable towards Golden Indonesia 2045," said the Minister of Industry, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, during the opening ceremony of INNOPROM 2026, in Ekaterinburg (6/7).

The status as Official Partner Country places Indonesia as the main focus of the holding of INNOPROM 2026. During the four days of the exhibition, Indonesia presents a series of strategic agendas that bring together the government, industrial actors, investors, business associations, and international partners through business forums, business matching, to bilateral meetings.

The opening of the Indonesia Pavilion immediately received the attention of the leadership ranks of the Russian Federation. Moments before the Opening Ceremony of INNOPROM 2026, Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, made the Indonesia Pavilion one of the destinations visited by the leadership ranks of the Russian Federation in the INNOPROM 2026 trade fair tour. Accompanied by Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita and Director General of KPAII Tri Supondy, the group directly reviewed the innovations, technologies, as well as investment opportunities offered by the Indonesian manufacturing industry.

Carrying the theme Navigating Industrial Futures, the Indonesia Pavilion presents an interactive experience that displays the transformation of Indonesia's manufacturing industry towards a sector that is modern, innovative, and sustainable. Standing on an area of more than 1,500 square meters, this pavilion presents 50 co-exhibitors from various strategic sectors, starting from the metal, machinery, transportation equipment, and electronics industries, agro-industry, chemical, pharmaceutical, and textile industries, small and medium industries, to industrial estates. All participants display products, technologies, innovations, and investment opportunities that reflect the increasingly strong competitiveness of Indonesia's manufacturing industry in the global market.

Director General of Resilience, Regionalization, and International Industrial Access (KPAII) of the Ministry of Industry, Tri Supondy, said the Indonesia Pavilion was designed as a platform that connects national industrial actors with potential strategic partners from Russia and the Eurasian region. Through various business forums, business matching, and industrial meetings during INNOPROM 2026, the government targets the birth of concrete cooperation that can be immediately followed up and provide real benefits for the industrial development of both countries.

Indonesia's participation as the Official Partner Country at INNOPROM 2026 reflects the increasingly large world trust in the capacity of Indonesia's manufacturing industry as a strategic partner in the Indo-Pacific region. More than just participation in an international exhibition, this momentum becomes an important milestone in expanding Indonesia's industrial diplomacy, strengthening integration into global supply chains, as well as opening investment opportunities and technology collaboration that will support national industrial growth towards Golden Indonesia 2045.
